WELCOME TO ELAN RESIDENTS GARDEN BLOG

ON 30 .04.2019 OUR Whats app Group ELAN RESIDENTS GARDEN was created with a few members and to day on this date (30.04.2020) on first anniversary the total members strength is 103. As we have mentioned in News Letter its activity by the members is over enthusiastic and members are very eager to learn things and exchange their knowledge with others in respect of gardening.

As a Admin and creator of this Group i want celebrate the First anniversary  with all the group members in our Casa Grand Elan Community , but due to COVID19 we cant organise it at present and after things settled we will have a small celebration on the eve of our First Anniversary.

At this juncture i have to thank all members of this group who participated in active discussion and their contribution to this Group by posting their valuable inputs so that others to improve their garden Knowledge.

I specially thank one of our Admin Shrii.D.Soundararajan, M.Sc(Ag.), residing in B 14 who organised a meeting at his villa and invited a guest lecture by Dr.Shanmugasundaram Ph.d in Horticul-ture stimulated interests and enthusi-asm among our members to learn basics of gardening with special reference to Organic gardening.

Shri D Soundarajan is a active participant of our whatsapp group and post many links and tips about Gardening. Recently he created GROUP IN FACE BOOK   ELAN  GARDEN RESIDENTS .

Another special thanks to Mrs.Rukmini , an active and enthusiastic garden owner at B040, who triggered the fire and made our group a very active and with her contact many residents joined the Group.Mrs Rukmini also organised a gathering at her Terrace Garden in B 040.

She also created a Whats app group for beginners of gardening OTG BUDDY PROG and guide many beginners in Gardening.

I observed that many TIPS and Many links posted in Whatsapp group is deleted due to shortage of space and i intend to create a Blog called "ELAN RESIDENTS GARDEN"  where we can post and store the important post for our future reference and guidence.

To start with i created 4 blog on the eve of anniversary day. We will improve it in longer run and I request members to forward their COMMENTS/ AND SUGGESTIONS in the BLOG .
